Test overdue

Badge +1
Hello, my name is Ilya!
My question is about a sign 'test is OVERDUE'.
But they promised I can learn at my own pace...
I'm afraid this fact will spoil my certificate.
And I'm afraid that the fact of my 'slowliness' ('this guy can't meet deadlines!') will be known by my prospective University, because I'm going to mention about this course in my CV, and I'm sending my application to the same Professor who created the course.
Please explain it!

Hi @IlyaP,

The deadlines are personalized in normal courses (not in degree courses) so you can reset them or switch to the next session. As the deadlines are not hard, the "Overdue" status simply means that the soft deadline has passed. If your quiz page is not locked, you can take the quiz without any trouble. Sometimes it requires you to click a "Reset my deadlines" button, though. This Help Article provides some more information:

Feel free to finish the coursework at your own pace. This information will not be mentioned on your Course Certificate. Some people may be too busy to complete their courses based on hard deadlines. That's why Coursera has provided flexible deadlines. Learners won't lose the chance of completing their courses due their busy schedules. So take your time and study the course material thoroughly to make the most of your learning journey.

The only thing that you'll need to take into account carefully is your payment status if you're paying for it, of course. For more information, please take a look at it:

Hope this helps.
