Hi @Laurel,

It looks like the note-taking feature is still in the beta phase. I have not seen such an option on its window. It simply provides a "Delete" option and an "Edit" one. I propose these methods as a workaround:

  1. Copy the content and paste it into a Word document, for example, and then print it out.
  2. Select the note on your browser and press Ctrl+P. If you are a Mac user, press Command-P. I tried this method and was able to print the selected note.
I hope these help.

Hi @Laurel. I recommend following @Maryam's suggestions to print your notes. What would you like to do with a print-out of your notes – study them, create flash cards, something else?

Hi @Laura , I would study from them. I learned during my undergraduate studies that if I type my notes and then read/highlight my notes then my retention is significantly better. I don't go through the trouble of making flash cards. It will also be very useful to have the formulas that were given during the lectures for reference during the quizzes.

Hi @Laurel. Thank you for sharing that with me, it's really helpful! And it makes a lot of sense. I will pass this along to my colleagues. It's possible that there will be an option to print saved notes in the future.

How can you see all your notes at once? Its kind of crazy to have to click through each section to see the notes I took there.
It's not currently feasible to have all of them in one place. It's good to know that they are working on it.

Hello!
I can't figure out how to "copy the content" or "Select the note". Whenever I click the note, it just queues the video up to that point. Any tips? Thanks!
Hi @Pat McGuire. I understand your point. I don’t click the text. I keep my mouse button pressed while selecting the portion before copying it.

Hi. I am new to coursera. And I would like to print out - or capture some of the slides... there are thumbnails in the notes section... but that takes me right back to the video. any way to download the slides?

Work around is print screen or section and copy to word or .ppt - but a bit onerous.

Thoughts?
Hi @anca and welcome!

Are you referring to your saved notes? The product team recently created a central place for viewing all your notes in a course. Unlike what you're experiencing on the panel, your selected portions are not clickable there, so you can easily copy and paste them into a Word document, for instance. Plus, pressing Ctrl+P should open a print window through which you can print the content of that page.

Hope this helps.
