When I began this course, I was under the impression that I would get at least a partial certification for teaching ESOL with Courses 1-4. Unfortunately, I can’t find anything that states I will receive any type of certification until I have completed the 8 Courses including the 2 Capstone Projects. Is this true? I see that part of the 2nd Capstone is several recordings of my teaching a class. I teach online, from home. Does this make getting this certificate impossible for me? Please advise. Thank you.

It is great that you have commenced the journey towards getting your TESOL certification; The certification is in two parts TESOL Part 1 and TESOL Part 2.
You will get a certificate of accomplishment for each part, however, you will only get your TESOL 150hrs specialization certificate when you have completed the two parts. (8 courses with 2 capstone courses). You also have the opportunity to get a digital certificate for free and a paper certificate for about $50.(the certificate is awesome!)
It is also very possible to complete your course. The main assessment is in your teaching skills and lesson plans. You video yourself teaching right in front of your computer teaching online, it does not have to be in a regular classroom.
I hope I have been able to answer your questions.

I wish you luck in completing this task.
