Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone

I am someone who usually likes to play it safe and tend to be very hesitant trying new things. As someone who wants to feel less anxious trying new things in regards to my personal life, career, school, etc.

What do you do to help feel at ease when going out of your comfort zone ?

@justinebradyy excellent question! Sometimes we have no choice but find ourselves in positions where we need to do this. I think of these as must do situations and just do it. You can’t keep worrying about it because you have to do it. That helps, knowing it has to be done.

For situations that you choose, along with the anxiety is an excitement. If you can do this, you will feel so good! That positive thought, to imagine you have accomplished this, is helpful. It’s like jumping into cold water when it’s hot outside. You don’t want to jump in to such cold water, but you want to cool down, so you tell yourself it’s wonderful, and jump in! 😀
