Have you taken Mindshift? Yes! In fact, I was delighted to have a small role in its creation.

What did you like about it? Just about everything. Barbara Oakley's teaching style is great.

What were the key skills and knowledge you gained from the course? You can broaden your skills and maybe begin a new career.

Who would benefit from taking this course? Anyone, no matter what age, particularly those who may not be satisfied with their current career or life journey.

What have you done with what you learned? I started a blog (see my post about Mindshift here: http://onlinelearningsuccess.org/my-role-in-mindshift/). I also now have a new part-time job using my knowledge of MOOCs and my writing skills to help learners at Class Central (https://www.classcentral.com/report/author/pat-bowden/).

What did you like about it?
The course provides a balanced mix of motivating examples and specific recommendations.

The most important takeaway for me was how to set myself up for success and execute.

Anyone with a goal in mind, will to work hard, and a certain amount of self-doubt.

What have you done with what you learned?
I've got a job I though I will never qualify for.
I've learned a new language I though I'll never speak.

Yes, I had completed the course few weeks ago.
I liked everything about the course but I liked the method to calm ourselves during times of stress the most.
The key skills include pomodoro technique, value of hiker brain, ability to calm ourselves during stressful times etc
In reality, everyone who is taking the course seriously and completing it.
I have enhanced my learning using the pomodoro technique and now I am able to withstand tough times way better than before. Thank you Barbara and Mindshift !

I'm building my skills in AI/Deep Learning and writing a book about the BBC micro:bit

I managed to have great impact when changing my career's path as I was starting in a whole new industry.
