It could be something big or small, a person or an experience or maybe an unexpected gift.
The human brain has a negativity bias
. But reflecting on the good things in our lives – and practicing gratitude – can help re-train our brains to more quickly recognize and fully appreciate the good stuff!
It is also a good feeling when we can be happy for other people.
