My name is Othman Al-Hayed. I'm 19 years old. I'm from morocco. I am a student in the university's electrical and mechanical department. I live in one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco with my family. I am a man who is fond of science. I am trying to improve myself especially my English. I am a junior programmer and I am a boxer. I enjoy reading and traveling. I love helping others when they need me. I like to go out with my friends on the weekends to have fun and enjoy our time. Very friendly and I would like to make new friends.

    My name is Don and I'm 44 years old. I am originally from upstate N.Y.. I didn't have good direction or peers most of my life and ended up quitting school. I went back and got my G.E.D.. years later I tried to go to college but found out that I am not eligible for financial aid because I did not sign for selective service. I had no idea what it even was. You have to do it between the ages of 18-24.  So I've spent most of my working years at dead end jobs and minimum wages. My main experience is hospitality, customer service and sales. I was working at a restaurant as a cook when the pandemic hit but everything shut down. I am now 44 years old, I live in California and it's expensive here. I have children and a disabled fiance. I have barely enough money to even pay rent. But I know I have to do something. I am a hard worker and want better. If anyone can point me towards facts to show proof of something like this being a good thing for the future or if anyone has any resources that can aid me in this path I'm wanting to take. I have no IT experience but I'm a fast learner and need a career to lead me and my family to financial security.

Hello friends, I’m Paola Giardina (she/her), from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m 47 years old. I am a professional English-Spanish Translator (Certified) and Copyeditor/Proofreader, and at present I am studying online (second year of 4-year course) to become a Literature Professor.

I have been working for many years as English and Spanish teacher, and I also work as a full-time freelance translator and proofreader for national and international companies and customers. I would like to work as a Professor soon, preferably at high-school and University level. I’m looking for translation, writing-editing, literature and language specialization courses here. I hope to get the most of this community, and also to give my little contribution.

I’ve been working as a Senior Automation QA Engineer for 8 years now and decided to change my career towards Data Science / Cloud Engineering / Automation. 

I’ve joined Coursera Plus program recently and currently studying IT automation from Google, algorithms and discrete math, ML for finance and trading, astronomy. Plan to enroll in more Deep Learning and Cloud courses later.
