Hi everyone. I joined Coursera a couple of weeks ago and completed the first 3 Courses o the Python for everybody specialization. It was a great course and a great experience.
I am an electrical engineer living in Munich. The reason of joining Coursera was to expand my knowledge on the topic of computer science and writing code. I chose python as my first language to learn and I felt in love with the language. My end goal is to use python in the space of machine learning and data science. Because that is the sector that I want wo work in.

The first courses I did on my own. Which was fine, but I want to integrate myself in the community and meet and discuss with other people that are interested in similar fields.

So Its great to be here and can't wait to meet all the interesting people in the Coursera community. 🙂

I have also a Bsc in Mathematics & Statistical Science, finishing off my Bcom Honors this year. I was always fascinated with Machine learning, which i did with Prof. Andrew Ng, also continued to specialize in Tensorflow hoping to finish course 4 this coming week. If time permits i might continue to take the Deep learning course. Joining the Coursera group has changed my life and perspectives. I do marathons, and occasionally play golf. I am building a start up in Data Science. Things are shaping up.

Hello,
My name is Heidi Peterson.

This is the linkin of my work evidence https://linkedin.com/in/heidi-peterson-b52aa3187/

I have been out of the field since mid 2000 because I made a NGO and mediation organization for war conflict in Yemen and the USA did not accept our proposal ever, even though it is accepted and registered in Yemen by the different sides of the conflict.

Then I wanted to work in demography with some organizations linked to Russia which had reversed the decline in the birthrate. This was very important to me because I had to have surgery to have a septum removed from my uterus. This septum was causing me to have miscarriages which was making me feel worthless as a women and unstable. Yet I did conceive when I was working on my Yemen mediation project, which the detail of the, Yemen mediation project, is horrifying. And after I returned to the USA from Russia I was attacked by the government for reporting a crime and they claimed I was human trafficking my child because she is not white and I am white then they took her. And terrorized us. Yet they did this the day before Restoration Hope and it is not the first time they targeted me and there intent towards us is obvious as to the results of their actions.

So I fight for 5 years and the state of florida bankrupted me. And I decided to become a data scientist when I found out it is based on the education I received from the University of Washington but I was not upto date with all the AI and new technology so I am trying to catch up now. Which I hope to obtain money and sue the government, and those involved, and release my child.

We also wanted to do our project but gave up because the government refused to do it, in fact they purposefully put the mediation in Sweden because Allen Carlson founder of World Congress of Families ( which state of florida says is a cult ) in a speech in Moscow stated that the swedish neo-marxist state model is making women and children collectives of the state and destroying our families in the west. Then they proceed to prolong the intentional suffering of my child and those poor children in Yemen. They did this because they said they hated muslims and Arabs and they would do the opposite of whatever was needed.

Bonjour everyone,

I am Talha, 31 from Lahore. I have done MS (and BS) in Computer Engineering. I got admission in the PhD CS last year but got kicked out of it after first semester failure. It was like the world turned upside down for me as it was something beyond the script for a procrastinator person like me. Anyways, I have since then realized I am not good enough for grad school - though struggling to even get a job (which's something strange given I have software engineering experience). I am grateful to Coursera that my idle time hasn't wasted entirely and although I am pretty lazy, but still managed to complete two courses this summer and hopefully much more with time to come. I always believe in learning from cradle to grave and hence my relation with Coursera will be a long-lasting one insha'Allah

Hello everyone,

Mi name is Miguel Angel, 38 years old and living in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a big fan of Google Inc. and lover of technology. I have being working with technology during my past 17 years after taking a 2 years course of computer repair and networking. Since that, I have opened myself to learn some other areas of technology and my must recent experience was as Senior Computer Technician Tier 3 giving repair services to Hewlett Packard warranty products at commercial department. Right now, I am on my 4th year of a Bachelor degree in Information systems at Ana G. Mendez Dual Language University of Dallas and also taking the Google IT Professional Certificate course with the hope to have strong cualifications to join one of the main companies of technology around the nation, especially Google Inc. if I have the opportunity. I am a strong believer that is never late to achieve our goals and technology is something that is open for everybody.

With this short introduction I hope to find people that can be part of my friends circle and also motivate others to continue pushing for their goals. I am glad to be part of this community and please go and visit my recent post "Google should hire us" which is a very interesting point of view about this course and why this company should hire us.

Much blessings to all of you, nice to meet you all and good luck in your path as part of Coursera :)

See you all around!

Miguel Angel

Hi everyone, I am Yannick Ngoma, new coursera learner from DR Congo but living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for a little more than 7 years now. Week 1 studying Bussiness and Financial modeling in order to have more skills that I can apply on a daily work. Since I am thinking about a career in finance, in my opinion, financial modeling is a "must have" skill and I think this course will be a good introduction to the subject. From what I have observed of this week, all the material of the specialization seems very well organized and I am very excited for this course. I am Fluent in French and Portuguese and my English is good but I would like to practice more since I don't have the opportunity to speak it everyday. I like learning, reading, sports, music, video games, board games.
I am glad and thankful for the community platform. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/yannick-ngoma
Kind regards,
Yannick Ngoma
