It’s a pleasure to meet you, Claudia. Your photos are truly beautiful. You have captured inner as well as outer beauty of both people and places. Do you always work with black and white photography? Do you use film and develop yourself or digital?

i am intrigued by your motto of “live your vision”. Although this is wonderful, it’s also wonderful to have an inner, secret vision that you can recall and not necessarily put it out for the world. It’s like having and treasuring your own personal vision that makes you feel good when you think about it, not meant for anyone but yourself. What do you think?

I spent a lovely summer in Vienna in 1969. Mozart is one of my favorite composers. His music is the best way to make me feel good. Injsed to be a teacher, would drive home listening to Mozart, and forget all my school problems when I finally arrived home.
I remember fondly sitting in ( pardon my spellings!) a biergarten, sipping white wine and eating a whole order of liptower cheese. There would be classical music playing. I never wanted to leave! : )

Thank you for spreading some of your beauty and love here with us.

Dear Judith,
thank you so much for having taken the time to respond and to look at my website.
Yes, "Live your Vision" is one of my mottos and it is as true as it can - in another context - be a seemingly contradictory motto, which I would phrase... like: live the Vision, which God has for you ... (and that could seem sometimes very different from your own "little" dreams and wishes ... and maybe you would not tell anyone, that you try to listen to what Gods Vision would be for you ... as I imagine God to be a God that is really really Good, I also imagine, whatever Vision he/she/it has for me, that would be one, that it is one, that serves my highest good and also the good of others... ok, maybe for an open email-response, this is far to philosophic and personal ... it just came to my mind:).

I totally love Salzburg and am always newly amazed how beautiful it is. Often I say out loud "I live in Paradise". I feel very lucky and blessed to live here. And I wish you to have a beautiful time, wherever you are right now, too.

With greetings from Austria
Yours, Claudia

A bit of my back story, and where I’m going....

I have spent most of my working career in construction, interspersed with time on drilling rigs, in commercial kitchens, periods of property management, and some hospitality work. I have suffered some major traumas physically through some of these jobs (mentally too I suppose), these include broken bones (legs, hands feet, back, and facial) as well as a number of impact injuries that have healed, but the aftereffects of which have combined to make working in these fields unattainable at this time. I find myself on disability benefits, yet hungering for more…

I purchased my first computer at auction two years ago, mostly for entertainment purposes; however I soon found myself determined to supplement my income through it. I tried a shopify store, then some affiliate marketing courses. I made a few small sales, but certainly not back what I invested in a few of these “gurus”. It was , however, an investment in myself as I self-taught myself the use of my computer.

A good demonstration of where I was beginning this program lies in my application answers;

Why are you interested in the certification?
Would be the first big step in a career change for me. Currently unable to pursue work in construction or kitchen environment due to previous injuries which limit mobility and strenuous exercise. I am currently receiving Alberta Works benefits through the BFE (barriers to full employment) office. I am eager to develop my computer skill set in a formal teaching environment.
How might receiving the Google IT Certificate Scholarship make a positive change in your life?
This is an opportunity to broaden my horizons. I am currently enrolled at Our House Recovery centre and am working on my exit planning. This year long program has allowed me to deal with addiction issues and build a support foundation in the community. I am very interested in furthering my education so that I can be employable in today's burgeoning tech market.
What challenges, if any, do you face finding education or training elsewhere?
I have been on Alberta Works for over 3 years continuously at this point, and off and on for 5 years previous to that, so finances would be a barrier. As well my physical limitations due to previous spinal injuries have limited my opportunities. I am making headway in this regard as have finally become a patient of Shield Clinics in Edmonton, and have begun therapeutic treatments through them. I would be happy to provide any further info as requested.
