I have developed a Youtube play list on the subject The purpose and meaning of human life - An investigation on the meaning of life based on reason. It takes little over 1 hr to go through the playlist. I will appreciate if you can provide feedback to the playlist.

I appreciate the amout of work you put into the package of videos to explain your understanding of the meaning of life.

I went through the video at 2x speed. I believe I understood most of it. The major exception was video 7.2 with the concept of the ee brain that I could not somehow understand in a deep way.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you Plessey for taking the time to watch my video. The issue is that scientists claim that brain creates the perception.  This has issues like - what we know of our physical body is outside brain, but since we know only our perceptions, it is inside our brain. To resolve these and other conflicts with the scientist’s model, I have taken an example of robot. For a robot, the world is made out of 1’s and 0’s but if we assume that our world is reality ( which is not), than world of solid objects are real objects but for robot it does not have access to solid objects. It only has access to objects that are in 1’s and 0’s. For the robot, the solid object of CPU and Transistors are ee-brain. Similarly, we do not have access to the true real objects, we only know the perception of our body that ee-brain has created.

I hope it clarifies little bit.

Thanks again for taking the time to watch the video.

Speaking from a spiritual angle, I feel life is God's gift to us. Life has meaning if it is spent in carrying out your duties faithfully, be it at home, at the workplace, or on your interactions with society at large.

We should be grateful for this life , to our parents, to our teachers, to Mother Earth and to God.

The purpose of life is to be a karmayogi, doing your duties honestly, regardless of the rewards, being a good father, mother, son, daughter husband, wife, friend, neighbor, brother, sister and contributing honestly and selflessly to the welfare of society, the country and the world. Our purpose would have been served if we leave the world a better place than when we entered it, lived honestly with our heads held high, recognize the mortality of our physical beings, the immortality of our souls, and embrace both life and death without fear, like a true Yogi.

Cant agree more. But if somebody asks why that is so and questions the spiritual answer from reason, reason should be able to justify it. Because sleep of reason is deadly and can lead to fundamentalism in any domain.

A quote from Galileo :I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use and by some other means to give us knowledge which we can attain by them.

Thank you

@shrihas    thanks for sharing your work on a topic that many asked.  I have done a lot of searching too and appreciate your hypothesis of the need of feeling a void or emptiness that I gathered from watching the last two videos only.

My watching the last two videos is my way in checking out a book by reading the ending to determine if I would spend time reading the lot.  As I had other models of the topics, I must say that I did go back to watch video from the beginning.  The models that I am more convinced of is that covered in courses such as A Life of Fulfillment and Happiness, The Science of Well Being, and philosophy/religion such as Nietzsche and Sartre Existentialism, and Buddhism.   And a recent interview of Prof. Srikumar Rao and a brief touch on the topic resonates well with me.  So that is the content aspect.

In the presentation aspect, the last two video comes across with you more or less reading the text there.  If you can provide some graphics or animation, that may liven it a bit.  Also, there are too frequent use of “I hate …...”  creating unintended negative perception.  Most people would want to have positive entities to feel their proverbial void and emptiness, don’t you think?

The music comes with the image of the head with a brain outline is positive.  The brain outline that is empty certainly conveys void or emptiness.  Would that be subliminal by design?

Thank you for taking time to watch videos of the course. I really appreciate it. I also appreciate your feedback and will keep the points you mentioned in future videos. The brain outline that is empty was not by design.
