The course of the week is EMT Foundations, offered by the University of Colorado.

@Claire and I are hoping that together we can help people find great courses through the community. Every week, we're featuring a course and inviting people to share their course highlights and how they're using what they learned.

Below are some questions for inspiration. Feel free to answer any or all of them – or share something else.

If you've taken EMT Foundations ...

What did you like about it?

What were the key skills and knowledge you gained from the course?

What have you done with what you learned?

Who would benefit from taking this course?

Are you interested in answering questions about the course from people who may want to enroll?

The course and the entire specialty is actually excellent, I couldn't stop until I did the whole program. The instruction team is really professional and knowledgeable. There was a lot of diagnostic & reading assignments but they are worth it...included links and resources are vast. I came away with a greater appreciation & respect for the profession and of course the life saving abilities & knowledge taught. If you want to get certify you still need to do a physical skills component to qualify to write the NREMT -Thanks!

Great actually i have finished it a couple of days ago and it was so great that i finished half of the next course till now. I also made a post in arabic on my FB blog page talking about it and encouraging others to take online courses than going to offline courses which cannot be compared to the quality of this course and also not offered by professionals. I also used the course as an example to advocate for online courses and proposed my idea that it is way much better than offline courses especially on acquiring knowledge that doesn't have any practical part. That is even more true in the middle east. The post went viral and reached until now more than 15000 engagement although my page have only 1000 followers.
I recommend the whole specialization to everybody actually great work.
