About the Global Master of Public Health Degree Program
In the Global Master of Public Health degree program, students will prepare to become the next generation of public health leaders by honing their research skills while learning from faculty who are shaping global health policy. Students will also build portfolios while studying topics such biostatistics, epidemiology, health systems and more. Dr Bottle, Reader in Medical Statistics and Lead for the Statistics for Public Health specialization will talk about his area of research in medical statistics and electronic health records. Dr Bottle helped create a national hospital mortality monitoring system which flags potential issues with care at hospitals. This system helped to uncover a scandal at the Mid Staffordshire Hospital in the UK.
