We’ve launched a pilot of some hands-on projects that let you practice your skills in Tensorflow, Python, and R.

Check out the projects and try one here. What do you think?

Hey @Laura

Thanks for launching some wonderful projects in Tensorflow, Python & R. I have seen the list and i am excited to work on them now.

Aside this I would like to suggest some projects in SQl as well. As you know SQl plays a very key role in Data Scientist Job. It would be really beneficial for the Data Scientist aspirants to how exactly they work with SQl in real time cases.

Kindly let me know if you required any further information on this subject. I love to explain it in more detail.

Thank you.

Sincerly

Kalyan

Thanks for suggestion, @Kalyan! These are just a few pilot projects – many more to come! Feel free to share more about the kinds of SQL projects you’d like to see.

Thanks @Laura for sharing!

The projects look great for applying the competences I’m acquiring with the courses I’m doing here at Coursera.

Just one question: at the moment I do not feel confident enough to try a project.  Is there any way to save them in a wishlist that can be accessible through the “My courses” menu?

Hi @Alberto IT. At this time it’s not possible to save courses for later, unfortunately. It’s a great idea, and I hope that we can offer it soon! This ‘save for later’ feature has been requested here. You can click “Vote” to give it your support. :)

Thank you Laura! As urban ecologist, in the future it would be great fot me to see projects related to other fields such as climate studies, gis data, pollution ecc.

Thank you very much!
