Help with switch sessions

Hello,

I'm enrolled in the Specialization "Statistics with R" but I've missed the last deadline of the course "Introduction to Probability and Data", and I can't submit my project.

Now, I have to switch the session, but this option it's not available for me (you can see in the photo attached). Can anyone help me, please?

I've read the specialization's syllabus and the information it's "Flexible Schedule: Set and maintain flexible deadlines".

Hi Priscilla,

That is unfortunate. It sounds like it might be a technical issue. If you click on this link https://learner.coursera.help/hc/en-us/articles/208280106-Report-a-problem-with-a-course and go to the Contact Us button at the right hand side near the end of the page and follow the "Courses and Course Enrollment" option then the Technical Support team at Coursera should be able to sort out the problem for you. They will have you back making fantastic progress in the Statistics with R Specialization in no time... Best of luck!!

Hi Priscilla,

I can not see a photo of what you are seeing so I will have to try to guess. Has course session end date passed (not the due date of the project but the final end date of the course session)? It is normal that the Switch Session option does not appear until the current session of the course is fully finished. Normally the Switch Session option will appear after this date passes.

Thank you so much for the fast answer!

I've just attached the photo now (sorry!).

The course session end date was 26 August.

Last week, I've saw that a new session was going to start 31 August, but, yesterday, when I was going to try to switch the session, the option "disappeared" (as you can see in the photo).

Can you clear your cache and cookies and check if the information that you can see has changed? I have just enrolled in that course to check when it would say the next session I could join is and it is saying the next session begins on September 9 and that someone can enroll in this session today.

Hi Priscilla,

I tried to send you a link to take you to the page after the Contact Us button but the system has blocked it until a moderator looks at the link to make sure it is not something unsafe. When a moderator looks at it tomorrow and sees that it is just a link to the contact page then you should receive the message (or maybe they will get someone in Coursera that can help you to contact you).

sorry for bother you again!

I'm a kind of worried because nobody in Coursera Team contact me and the two problems (switch sessions and the section "contact us") are still happening.

Hi Priscilla,

There is nothing for you to be sorry about, it is not a bother. Try this....

  1. Check that you are fully log in to the Help Centre
  2. In the search section at the top to the page you are on now type in: "Contact us" - Site not accessible.
One question asked by another person should appear. When you click on that conversation you will see a reply from a person called Laura (see attached picture). Click on the link "contact the support team here" and see if it will work for you....
