Financial Aid for Multiple Courses

Hello, I'm new to coursera and have a confusion regarding financial aid.

I am interested in a data science package, which includes 9 courses, offered by IBM.

I applied for financial aid and it got approved. But the approval message says only about the first ("What is data science?") of the courses, what about other eight?

Obviously, taking only the introductory course does not earn me the certificate.

Do I need to apply for all of them individually? Or, is there a way out?

Hi @khnlbikal and welcome!

Do I need to apply for all of them individually?

Yes, that's completely correct. You'll need to submit a new application for the second course. This portion of the Help Article explains it well:
When you apply for financial aid for a Specialization, you will get Financial Aid only for the first course. You will need to submit separate applications for each new course as you go through the Specialization. To apply for Financial Aid for courses in a Specialization, follow the instructions above for each course in the Specialization.

hi @Maryam i want to know is there a case when someone is doing a specialization through financail for example he have done 2 two courses with financial aid in total 3 courses and he applies for the 3rd but it get rejected and he not able to achieve the specialization certificate ?

Well, I'm not an expert, but I don't think that. I've done part of a Specialization (3 courses) with financial aid, and I think that you should take into account two factors: first, if you're keeping the right pace to study the course (i.e.: delivering submissions on time, reviewing others' submissions, etc). Second, if your circumstances are the the same to apply for financial aid as when you applied for the first time.
If the answer to both questions is yes, you shouldn't be concerned about the approval.
Hope this helps.
Hi @asimlearner. Even if your application is denied, Coursera will send a denial email which explains the reason. You can then fix the issue and apply for Financial Aid again.

for each module you have to do make a separate financial application for each 9 module.
after 15 days from the day of application submission you will gain the access to the module.

Hey, I got accepted to the first course of a specialization course today. Is it possible that I apply for the second course right now or would that deny me my current financial aid?  I don’t want to wait 15 days to get accepted to the second course as I am planning on taking the 1st full-time.

Hi there, you can apply for the second course right now and it’ll be approved after 15 days as usual but focus on the schedule of the course.
