Again in Digital Logic Design(DLD) subject we used different IC(integrated Circuit) for different functions showing answer, but i don't understand how the large number of data is stored or run by the computer and then different applications work?
I want to know all of the hardware mechanism. I want to know if there are books available for a clear knowledge.

Hi @Tanjila. Are you studying this subject on your own or are you taking a course about it? Have you found any books to help you?

Hello @Laura, I have completed my graduation from CSE recently and yes I am trying to learn by myself. Didn't take any course. I've found a book "How Computers Work" two days ago and started reading.
Besides, I really appreciate your response and will be waiting for you and your suggestions.

@Tanjila, have you done a search on www.coursera.org to locate courses about this topic? For example, I just did a search for "How computers work" and found a course with that exact title: How Computers Work, offered by University of London. That course is part of a 3-course Specialization: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Specialization.

there is also "tetris from first principles" on coursera, which is probably a good course to check out.
