But the problem is I need to use windows PowerShell and it doesn't work I have tried updating  but that didn't work and I cant progress through the course until I finish this quiz . here is what my PowerShell shows  Windows PowerShell Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.  Try the new cross-platform PowerShell https://aka.ms/pscore6  PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Create,  I know it shouldn't look like that any help is appreciated.

What is your current operating system? (you need a Windows system to make the full use of Windows PowerShell)

How do you run/invoke the PowerShell console? (in Windows there are few possibilities, most commonly used are: ‘powershell’ directly from the Run box (Windows+R combination); PowerShell ISE from the Start menu; ‘powershell’ from inside cmd.exe interpreter)

BTW If you see PS in front of every command prompt (followed by the current working directory path) it means that you started your PowerShell session inside the cmd.exe interpreter console (most likely). It works correctly, but it may look a bit differently than the PowerShell console started as a separate process - i.e. it will be the size of CMD interpeter’s window (in which it was started) and it will not have the blue background.

Hello @ffff

Thank you for posting your concern on the forum.

About the matter.

  PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> __

Firstly, please check whether the command you are adding after the  sign is correct/typed properly .

For understanding the issue a bit more clearly,I would like to request you to respond with a screenshot of the problem being encountered.

Hello @ffff

Thank you for acknowledging the suggestion.

Here is what I understood from the screenshot you provided.

As this assignment is hosted in the qwiklab's virtual environment, many constraints will appear differently than the given instructions when you are using personal computer.

So,my suggestion would be to click on the top left hand side button to enter into your virtual workspace following the instructions given.

After the setup is complete, follow the steps just the way it is suggested in the reference article .

Enter which ever commands stated (order of which should be maintained) necessary for fetching the desired results.

Hope this helps.
