Unable to pay for Google's Project management professional certification

Helli, I am from India. I’ve been trying to enroll in Google’s Project Management Professional certificate program, but i am not able to pay for the subscription as the transaction keeps getting fail. I’ve already tried other payment options but of no help. Someone please help me with this issue ASAP.

Hi @Zainil  . as @Maryam explained to other learners : The Coursera team is aware that learners from India may be experiencing difficulties when paying. It’s related to a recurring online transactions directive of RBI, as explained here. If you are using Razorpay, please try another method. If nothing works, then you probably have to wait for now. hope this issue will be resolved soon

Just curious: would coursera find any other way of accepting payment from indian students or we just need to wait for the decision to come from RBI? 

 

Is there anything else we could do for the same?

Hi @Zainil .  the last update about that from @Maryam :

For now, learners in India can only use Razorpay to purchase courses. They’ll need to use a Visa/Mastercard to pay for Specializations.

Hi @salahny , already tried all the methods available for the purchase but none worked, as banks are not allowed to permit recurring transactions. 

I really hope coursera soonbrings solution for all indian learners as every indian is facing this problem right now. Kind of one time payments at a reasonable price.

I think now the best thing is waiting coursera resolve this issue, and you can contacting customer support and stay with them in touch to know last updates about that.

@salahny just an update: the 7 day trial is accessible by indian students who have international srvice available on cards. Personally i find paypal easy and convenient. theres no charge(not even Rs 5) for starting the trial
