"Sign In Failed" Internet Connection appears to be offline.

The coursera iphone app, or the iPad app, are both having issues with internet connection, while 1) all other apps are running 2) in settings I allow these apps to use cellular and wifi and 3) even the coursera web page on the same phone/iPad is working.

This issue has been up and reflected since 2.11 but has never been fixed.

I've provided this feedback in app store but has never heard back since.

hi, i have been trying to login the app on my ipad but same error as titled. internet can confirm to be working with this message.

Hi @wltan. Thanks for letting me know. I checked with our engineers and the upcoming iOS version 3.1.0 will take care of this bug – it should be released soon. Sorry – I posted too soon!

Do you have any timeline when it will be released. I updated my app on Sep 30 but the issue is still there.

I am having the same issue for months now. Please fix

I uninstalled and reinstalled the coursera app on iPad and it worked. I lost all the downloaded material and had to download it again.

I was going to say: Did you try rebooting your phone?

 

Glad to see the engineering department is on top of things.

Hi,

I am not able login from my Iphone Coursera application 3.1 version.  It says “Sign In Failed” and “The internet connection appears to be offline”.

 

I have tried removing and reinstalling the application, switch off/on the iphone XR that I am using.

 

I am able to login from my notebook, desktop which Windows 10.

 

Any immediate help is appreciated.
