Restrictions – locked sessions

Wondering why a restriction is placed on one's ability to move on to the next "Item" [quiz]? What is the validity to the argument for locking a session until a pre-specified date? I acquired my degree online and I do understand the necessity of setting up time frames with instructor lead classes/courses. Team assignments, discussion forums for grades, facilitator grading period, etc. But that is not the case for the courses offered here [Data Science specialization]. I am especially not understanding the logic in making videos and reading available, but then locking the quiz to what was just learned to a week later. I could understand locking the learning material for that quiz, but locking the quiz for what was just learned...? Not understanding the logic.

Can someone please help me understand?🤓

These days there are hardly any free courses left, so, if you have not paid for the course, that is probably the reason you have no access to quizzes

@Lochcarron
It is a paid course, but it is during the free trial THEY offer... So the question still remains... What I can finish and learn in a week, the administrators of Coursera is stretching out to three weeks with the restrictions...🤔

Hi @LBHunter. I'm not sure why you're encountering locked items. I recommend contacting the support team via the Help Center to get help with this.
