I received a scholarship and the course completion is coming up soon. I submitted my first assignment in September (5 months ago). I have completed everything and reviewed 3 of my classmate's submissions. But I still have not received required reviews from the Week 1 assignment in Sept.

I submitted Week 2 this week and will complete the remaining Weeks 3 and 4 by Feb 20.

I submitted my assignments recently on the discussion forum asking for help in reviewing my writings. So far, there has been no response. I would greatly appreciate help so that I can receive my Certificate and honor my Scholarship.

Thank you.

@carmenmg , if you have one review and have done everything else needed, then you will pass the course. You used to need 3 reviews, but when people couldn’t get them, like you, it wasn’t fair. Please contact the Help Center to verify this but this has been the policy for a while. Let us know when you passed! Thanks.

Just so you know carmenmg,

Typically you will want to post in the forums for your course specifically in regards to peer-reviews and peer-graded assignment reviews.

The community forums are for everyone on the Coursera platform, and people here will not be able to assist with peer-reviews unless they are in the same course; the majority are likely not in the same course.

Just because there are so many courses here.

It would be best to post requests for reviews in your course forums. Thanks!

Hi @carmenmg. I'm sorry – that sounds frustrating. As @Judith has said, please contact the Help Center and explain the situation in detail so they can assist you. Here's an article that may be helpful, with a "contact us" button at the end: Report a problem with a course.

Thank you @Judith for the good news that only one review per assignment is needed now. I still need to find students for the review for 4 assignments posted. Thank you @Kebin for your response and the information. I had posted in my course forum, but it appears that no one is active in the course. I submitted in Sept and my deadline is Feb 28th. I will try again or contact the Help Center. Thank you @Laura . I was unable to find a contact number in the Help Center. I will take a look at the article you sent a link to. Again, thanks everyone for your responses.

@carmenmg I'm glad the community could help you! After you click the "Contact us" button, you'll just need to answer a few questions until you have the option "I want to email Coursera."

Hello, My name is Lydia as well as known, and I'm a learner fro UCIrvine. I'm studying Andaved English Grammar. I submit my peer review earlier than the requested, or rather I did  6 peer reviews while I had been expecting the other learners to do mine but It didn't happen. Now I need to send my peer review assignment to be rated to the next deadline on October 31st, 2019.

Please, could you review it? I appreciate that.

If you know to send it correctly to the UCIrvine community, please let me know. Thank you. Have a good one. Lydia.

@Laura  @Judith  I have hit the same roadblock, only i received no help from “contact Us” ...Coursera live chat. I am at a loss here. They provided no real solutions to my issue. I already had the answers he presented. the course i am taking has an inactive discussion forum therefore no one to peer review my submission. i spent a lot of time taking the course only to find out my certificate receipt is contingent on courseras popularity (or lack of). If i am going to pay $50 for a certificate, the peer review submission should not be required. the submission should be looked over by a coursera admin/teacher/employee/volunteer etc. I guess i will look for a different website to take a course on and receive a certificate in a timely manner. I have a deadline Dec 1, 2019 . I have posted in my courses discussion forum… radio silence…. I cannot get the certificate (paid or not) without peer reviews???!!!!!  What is coursera doing about this? solutions?????

Hi @FreebirdSoFlo. I’m very sorry you didn’t get the help you were seeking when you contacted the support team. I can understand why you’re frustrated. If you don’t get any peer reviews within a week’s time, please follow up with support, and they will help you get your certificate.

@FreebirdSoFlo Did you finally receive your certificate or are you still waiting for peer reviews?

How many reviews do you need if you submit one day after the deadline?

@Judith I had other issues including those of @carmenmg 's that made me skip the assignments and continue the course for the lectures because I enjoy and have immense respect for instructor! I'm still doing the work just not submitting, because I reviewed many assignments, but found several with cross site scripting or as in one submission not related to assignment at all. I did flag the cx script that took me to medium.com, but that was enough to show me submission doesn't have checks for that. And that vulnerability made me stop completely! It was the full-stack developer course. Again love the course and instructor just not a fan of the peer review process, blog posts are all begging for review and questions go unanswered/unmoderated!

Are there someone that is enrolled in the course "deciphering secrets: medieval illuminated manuscript" i Need some review please!!!

@Juan Paulo C. Sarmiento, @Alessiasillaro , there is such a small chance that someone here is taking your course. Unfortunately, those would be the only people who could grade it.
The best place to post a link to your assignment and ask for a review is 8n your course forums. But you also need to give the process time to work and wait at least a week too.

Hi. I need to know if it is useful to pay after 7 day free trial? What do I do if I do not understand four exercises? Can I pause and then come back some months later?

Hello everyone, if you submit a Peer-Graded Assignment early, there may not be enough classmates around to review your work yet.

You can post your assignment’s shareable link in the course discussion forums to request reviews as well. You can find information about that in this article.

You should receive reviews when you are closer to your deadline, and you can check the deadlines for your assignments by going to your Grades tab in your Course dashboard.

After you get at least one review and the review due date has passed, you'll be able to see your grade.

If your deadline was more than 10 days ago, you can contact support for further assistance with this as previously suggested by @Judith and @Laura.

To do so, enter the Help Center and log in from the top right corner. Then, look for the option to contact “Contact us” at the bottom of this article.

[I’m also closing this thread since it is very old and the original post was resolved. Feel free to create a new topic in the Community Help & Questions forum in case you still need help.]
