Is there an outline or list of skills/topics covered in each course/certificate?

I just finished the 'Google IT Support Professional Certificate', and am having trouble listing out the skills I gained from it. Partly because the course was mostly overview, generalization, theory, and introductory-level stuff. The few specific how-to's we covered were too specific/simple to be meaningful on a resume (e.g. changing file permissions, basic powershell and linux commands, piping, archives). Mostly it's that I don't have the self-confidence to claim a skill unless I'm confident I can perform it in a professional setting, and/or answer surprise questions about it.

Here's a link to the certificate page (it's broken down into 5 courses which are listed on that page):

Hey @mamullen !

A great starting point to figure out what to include on your resume would be to take a look at each individual Course 1-5 page descriptions. If you expand the description on each course page you will see a section that looks like the following:

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
● understand how the binary system works.
● assemble a computer from scratch.
● choose and install an operating system on a computer.
● understand what the Internet is, how it works, and the impact it has in the modern world.
● learn how applications are created and how they work under the hood of a computer.
● utilize common problem-solving methodologies and soft skills in an Information Technology setting.

You can also scroll down the page for each Course 1-5 and go to the section where the Weeks are listed out. If you click on "See All" next to "Videos/Readings/Quizzes", you can see an outline of all of the topics covered in each week.

If you still have access to the course content you can also go back to review the content, retake quizzes, and practice! I recommend reviewing Course 1, Week 6 again. There is some great content about crafting your resume and preparing for interviews. 🙂

@vanria Thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for.

Reviewing course 1 is a very good idea. I downloaded most of the videos about interviewing, soft skills and the like as I went along, if they seemed interesting, but I think I will go back and review that whole section again now that I've got some confidence in my technical skills.

Hi @mamullen

When you'll finish the specialization you'll see at the "Accomplishments" section of your profile the Main certificate and below that the certificates of each course.

If you keep scrolling down you can find the Specialization Discription and finaly the How should I represent my completed Coursera Specialization Certificate on my resume/C.V.?

This is what I'm writting to my CV/Resume.
