Is there an outline or list of skills/topics covered in each course/certificate?
I just finished the 'Google IT Support Professional Certificate', and am having trouble listing out the skills I gained from it. Partly because the course was mostly overview, generalization, theory, and introductory-level stuff. The few specific how-to's we covered were too specific/simple to be meaningful on a resume (e.g. changing file permissions, basic powershell and linux commands, piping, archives). Mostly it's that I don't have the self-confidence to claim a skill unless I'm confident I can perform it in a professional setting, and/or answer surprise questions about it.
