I paid to get the certificate for the Machine Learning course by Prof Andrew Ng on the 17th of March, 2019.
I started learning and was really enjoying it; however, in June, I had to stop learning the course and focus entirely on my Bachelor graduation project for my university. From June to the end of August, my graduation project took the entirety of my time, and I couldn't study the Machine Learning course during that time.
I finished my graduation project a few days ago, and I wanted to continue studying the Machine Learning course from where I left off, but after looking at my "purchase history" on coursera, I realized that under my certificate purchase transaction it says "earn by Sep 13, 2019".
Does this mean that I will not be able to earn the certificate after the 13th of September? And if so, is there a way to extend this deadline?
There is unfortunately no way that I will be able to finish the remaining material in the course in that short amount of time (7 days).
I tried contacting Coursera's help center through the live chat feature, but the chat window is not showing up on my browser, which is why I am asking my question here. (Browser is Firefox, running on GNU/Linux (distro: Solus)).
Thank you for any and all answers! :)

You generally have 6 months to complete your course and earn the certificate starting from the date of payment/scholarship receival. Otherwise, you will have to pay/apply for financial aid again if you did not succeed in 6 months.
I understand that this may sound very confusing. Though I wish you best of luck in completing the course - you can always rush it in a week If you don't get it by Sep 13, try applying to financial aid, if you meet the criteria.
