Hi,

I am thinking of enrolling in "Strategic Leadership and Management" specialization. I clicked on "subscribe", and it says that I will be charged $xx next billing cycle.
My question is how does it work? Is the billing cycle every week or every month? What is the cost of getting the certificate if I finish all the courses or is it part of the recurring fee per billing cycle?

Thanks

Hi @sonnia,

Welcome! Subscriptions require you to pay a fee every month. You'll start a 7 day free trial. Then, you'll pay the fee every month until you complete the Specialization and get a Specialization Certificate. It's also possible to subscribe to a single course. For more information, please read these Help Articles:

I hope these help.

Hello @sonnia,

In addition to @Maryam's helpful answer, you can apply for financial aid if you can't afford to pay for courses.

So, there is no additional cost for the specialization certificate itself? Just the monthly fee?

I came across this: "To qualify for a Course Certificate, simply start verifying your coursework at the beginning of the course and pay the fee. " Is this on top of the monthly fee?

@sonnia, I've not seen such sentences with this wording in the Help Articles. Have you come across this information on a different website?

In any case, it doesn’t apply to your situation. Your courses are part of a Specialization. As you mentioned, you're going to pay for it via a subscription model. It's different from a one-time payment.
