Hello Everyone,
I hope you are doing well. I am interested to do some courses in Coursera. But I am confused about their policies. No pricing available on the website or most probably I have failed to find that. I heard that Coursera has a monthly flat fee. How much is that? Here I am sharing some questions to clarify my confusions.
  1. How Coursera charges? If monthly subscription based then how much is that?
  2. Can I do courses as much as I can for a fixed fees?
  3. If monthly subscription based then can I discontinue or pause it after finishing some courses and continue again?
  4. Can I pause a course in the middle way and resume again after few months?
  5. How Coursera Provide Certificates?
  6. If I discontinue, then are the digital certificates available on website?
  7. If I do bad, can I retake/repeat any coursera?
  8. What is the grading policy?
I hope I will be advised with proper answers of my queries. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Obaak.

Hi and welcome, @asif.cse14! When you click the "Enroll" button on a course homepage, it shows you the available options for that particular course/Specialization. Prices are often shown in your local currency, so you'll need to check them yourself. The enrollment options could vary from course to course/Specialization. Here are the enrollment options: Enrollment options

Here I am sharing some questions to clarify my confusions.

Most of the questions cannot be addressed by a simple yes/no or a brief paragraph, so I'm going to provide some Help Articles to help you gain the information you need from valid resources: This Help Article provides a lot of useful information which I think can answer your question: Payments on Coursera This Help Article explains how subscriptions work on Coursera: Coursera subscriptions

3.If monthly subscription based then can I discontinue or pause it after finishing some courses and continue again? 4.Can I pause a course in the middle way and resume again after few momonths

5.How Coursera Provide Certificates? 6.If I discontinue, then are the digital certificates available on website?

If this is based on a one-time fee, you cannot cancel it. If this is part of a Specialization, then you'll have to cancel (or pause) the subscription: Cancel a subscription

This Help Article covers the Specialization Certificates topic: Specializations This one talks about Course Certificates: Course Certificates If you complete a course, you'll view your Certificate on your Accomplishments page. Before completing, you'll not receive any Certificates.

7.If I do bad, can I retake/repeat any coursera? 8.What is the grading policy?

Yes, in normal courses (not in the degree programs), deadlines are personalized and learners can re-take quizzes and re-submit their assignments. It will not have any bad effect on their final grades: Assignment deadlines Grading policies are not the same in all courses and there are various assignment types. For example, this Help Article talks about Coursera quizzes: Take quizzes You'll need to check out assignment and quiz instructions to learn about passing grades and other policies in that particular course. In a course, you may pass a peer-graded assignment with 4/5 while in a different course you might need to get at least 7/10 to pass an assignment successfully. Hope these help.

Hi @Marcela,

Is this your course?
It does not have any discussion forums. Have you been waiting for a long time?
