@rahulsprajapati BHIM UPI ID is working.

Oh ok, I just saw last few messages about BHIM UPI ID is working. So maybe it’s just for me. It failed for me with UPI and Credit Card both.. I’ll retry in sometime with that.

Thank you. 🙂

Did you try the one created actually on the BHIM app - ending with ‘@upi’? That should work. The ones created on Gpay or paytm or banks are not working.

yes, I tried from BHIM UPI app only, with `@upi`.

@punar Hi, I just want to know if the account I'm using to link to BHIM requires international payments activated?

Could be @Adhi considering Coursera is not an Indian organization. Or maybe only a few banks are working even with BHIM UPI. I used HDFC card with international payments activated when I did it couple of days back. It has been working for few of us at least.

BHIP UPI also has limitations as it supports few banks only. I’m not able to pay with UPI.

 Hello!

Many thanks for putting forward this query @Raghwendra

Coursera Learner Support could not help me and I was quite frustrated after trying multiple platforms of payment a million times; this finally worked.

Thank you @punar !

After reading the threads, I tried BHIM UPI app with Axis Bank account initially but in vain.

It worked for me with HDFC Bank account through BHIM UPI app (which creates a mandate - a requirement mentioned in the link by @Jose A).

In my experience, BHIM UPI with HDFC, ICICI or SBI Bank accounts only might work, as mentioned on payment screen.

How to get the BHIM upi option? When I try to make payment for a course, it just gives me the option of card payment. This is so frustrating! Can’t even learn from a course that I’m willing to pay for!!

Every platform allows easy payments using UPI and debit cards. Please fix this ASAP.

I am unable to make payments through any cards or any bank UPIs. Please get this issue resolved ASAP, give us an alternative means of choice, the course I was trying to sign up by paying for is Google Data Analytics, it doesn’t have an audit option, please give an audit option so that we can start learning and not just wait hoping for the issue to get resolved in 5 months!

Hi everyone, I just want to clarify that this is not a technical issue on Coursera’s behalf; it is something that is coming from the Indian Government.

You can read more about this here.

This problem is expected to continue throughout September 30th, and it should be automatically resolved once this deadline is met.

Jose my monthly subscription for youtube continues to work fine. The Indian Goverment has given time till September 2021 to the service providers to migrate to the new framework.

razorpay has to do something about this

Steps for payment through Coursera Android app:

1). Update your payment details to the latest international working credit card (Very imp.),

2). Log into Coursera android app and “Subscribe” to your course for “FREE” for initial 7 days,

3). When you enter your course, it’ll automatically show that amount has been debited from your credit card for the next 1 month.

4). Now you can learn anywhere from online website in your PC as well as your smartphone.

Note: Discovered it today morning. Worked for me!:smile:

I was also enrolled in the said course from the past 9 months. And was unable to pay for the current month. Pressed on the “Enroll for free for 7 days” button (From the android app) and noticed that money was debited from my account for the next 30 days vaild till June 04, 2021.

Hopefully shall complete the normal 6 month course this month. 96% completed. :(

I’m trying to get enrolled from India. On payment screen, there are only two payment methodes available Card(Mastercard/VisaCard) and UPI/PayTM. I’ve tried all my cards but it show error all time “Card does not support recurring payments”.

Hey, I also faced similar issue. For me it was resolved after I made the payment using paytm.

Currently for indian users these are the apps that support recurring payments. So go for BHIM UPI or Paytm. I hope this helps.
