Cannot cancel subscription

I cancelled my free subscription the same day that I created it (it turned out that Coursera didn't have what I wanted). Then I got an email two days ago saying I was charged for the $50 subscription. I unsubscribed again and it said that I was unsubscribed, but when I returned today, I was still subscribed. I deleted my credit card number from the site today, so I'm hoping that means I'm actually unsubscribed now.
Everything I've read says I can't get a refund since I "didn't unsubscribe", which is frustrating since I did (or at least, I thought I did). At the very least, I want to make sure that I am in fact unsubscribed because if this happens again, I will be livid.
I haven't been able to find a way to email support, and the chat page never loads a chat box in the bottom right like it says it will.

@dajone16 , you need to reach the Help Center. There is an excellent description of how to reach them in this community ‘s main or home page. Please don’t give up trying to reach someone there! Make sure you are logged in. Eventually you will reach someone.

To add to @Judith's response, you may find an answer in the Help Center. Here's an article on Coursera subscriptions. If you don't find the information you need in the Help Center, you can click the "Contact us" button to contact a support agent. They will be happy to assist you.
