Hi @donny.lee ,

I've finished a Spesialization course in 6 days. I got my certificate and then I canceled my subscription.

They didn't charged me.

But in order to start the course you must give your credit card.

Until now I don't have any problems with that.

Hi @donny.lee,
Yes, you can. But please note that on the 8th day, the free trial will become a paid subscription. Also, you will need to give your credit card info to be able to start your Specialization. So, I would suggest that you read this Article carefully before starting your learning journey:

Is your certificate still valid even after you canceled subscription to the course?

In case I have pending  assignments for peer reviewing by the end of the trail period. Will I get the course certificate I case I cancel??

Hi @Arush Sharma ,

logicaly speaking if you have peer review pending then you haven't finished the course, so you cannot get the certificate.

But it’s something that the community manager can answer you. Not me.

Hi @Arush Sharma – @Elias_P is correct. If you have more questions about this, I recommend visiting the Help Center.

Hello! I’m a newcomer and I have a question. I’m doing the trial period of the course now but I’m not sure what is the price after the period will finish.. It’s about “Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence”.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @dobs

if you go to the top right side and click the arrow next to your name, a dropdown will appear.

Go to “My Purchases” and you can Manage Subscriptions and see your Transactions.

Hello! Yes, but I don’t have any content there. I was wondering how to find the price of the course. As for now I wasn’t asked to give my credit card details or so and I wouldn’t like to was a week to start the course if then the price will be too high. I hope this makes sense:)

Or can I do 8 week course in 7 days? Sorry but I ended up on this page rather by accident and I wasn’t able to find the information about the pricing..

Thanks again! d.

@dobs then you can start it and at the end of the free trial week, you’ll get informed for the price of the course/specialization.

If it’s ok with you, then you’ll give your credit card, get charged and continue it.

Otherwise, you’ve spent your time learning, partially, something you liked and then stopped.

Or you can wait for someone from Coursera to answer to your question.

Hi @Laura ,

As you answered earlier that we can earn a certificate during a 7-day free trial, it will remain valid.

But in Coursera website terms they are saying we need to pay for at least one month.

Please clarify my doubt.

Hi @bhargav949. I’m not sure if this has changed. Since it’s a free trial, I recommend trying it out, as it won't cost you anything as long as you cancel before your 7-day trial ends. I’m sorry I don’t have more information for you. :frowning2:

Hello Laura,

I just finished a course but unable to get a certificate. I followed this https://itechhacks.com/access-coursera-plus-for-free/ tutorial in this COVID19 Quarantine and found it really interesting.

Can you please tell me how can we get our certificate? Is it paid?

Thanks

Good evening from Thessaloniki, Greece @Bhuvnesh !

I have never had any problem with payment issues.

And I have attended a lot of courses and specializations. In case you have any kind of problem, someone from Coursera’s support will help you and fix the problem in one or, the longest, two days!

Dear @Elias_P

My name is Darius, and i am very new to Coursera. If you don’t mind to answer, since you have completed a Specialization during a free trial and got the certificate after canceling the subs.

Have you ever tried to do it for a normal course not specialization? and have you tried it for more than one course during the free trial? Thank you, your respond will be so helpful.

Hi @Darius Giovanni !

A Specialization has 3-6 courses (that’s what I have found until now). So, with common logic, if  I did it with Specialization then you can do it with a normal course. With a normal course, I guess you mean one course.

If you have any question just ask @Laura from the community and I’m sure that she’ll get back to you ASAP!

Enjoy your course!
