Hello Everyone,

To start with, let me introduce myself first and foremost! 

It's been more than six years since I did my first course exactly around November, 2013 on 'New Models of Business in Society'. Since then, it's been an amazing journey. With more than 85 courses overall and 45 courses from Coursera, I feel I am very much etched to the learning environment and feel like I belong here. I have the good fortune of  being on staff for various courses like Better Leader, Richer Life (Total Leadership) from Upenn, Technicity from Ohio State University, Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management from UVA,  Collaborator for International Leadership and Organizational Behavior from Bocconi University, as well as manage groups for various courses on social media channels. Currently, as you may have even noticed from my signature, I am associated with courses and specializations as Mentor for Business Foundations, Leadership and Governance courses, Leadership in 21st Century Organizations, Business Strategy, Construction Management as well as Leading People and Teams. I have even worked for more than 30 courses as beta-tester and continuing. 

My experiences from these courses have made me bag the role of Global Programs Director/ President of Indian Operations for an edtech platform i.e. UIPM, offering courses from various Institutes as well independent professional development courses, which is starting out in India and present in more than 10 Countries. First thing I did after joining was that, I discussed with the higher authority there and got Coursera as an affiliate partner as well. Now, we are also advertising Coursera courses to our portfolio of learners. I am also working as an Advisory Board member of Kiit University for it's PGD program in Construction Management and Infrastructure Development and worked as Central Monitoring Cell Leader/Coordinator as well as Civil Engineer for few Companies here. I even worked as member and then Advisory Board member for various teams at Enactus and got many people enrolled in courses from Coursera on an individual level especially the one's I Mentor. I have a Master's in Construction Management, Mini MBA from Madras Management Association and Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, Certified Life Coach practitioner from a Board, and Certified Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner from ABNLP. I am trained in Project Management from P.M.I. registered Institution. I recently earned two honorary doctorate degree's from two young Institutes in Malaysia and Brazil. I am an Institutional member of EDEN (European Distance Education and E-Learning Network) as well as CPD group and work as Ambassador for few other nonprofit organizations too. 

I am very excited to hear about the journey of other Business Leaders as well and get to know through introduction.

I have been a teacher at a community school. Although, I was not accustomed to online learning in the past, your understanding and vast experience in leading discussion boards are definitely helping me understand and get to know this new platform very quickly. I have been out of work for some time but your course suggestions are inspiring me to pursue courses in leadership and management. There are many courses that interests me now and I can get to know more about them here on this platform. Your suggestions have yielded many of my acquaintances, neighbours and friends to take interest in the courses and have heard they are benefiting from them as well. It's nice to see a digital marketing professional join us here with a certain level of skill sets in Website development and App development is an asset. Digital marketing is my foray too and i have been involved in community leadership positions for various groups and pages on social media, catering to more than 0.5 million users across the social media channels. In addition to that, during my time at previous company, I created and led as an admin for the project management groups on WhatsApp with teams from five major projects as well as created individual project groups to foster healthy discussion among the team members encompassing civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, commercial, hr, purchase, store, as well as operations team. I also moderated and checked on progress of five more improvement projects in the plant and resolved their issues as far as possible. I worked as an idea associate for Executive Director and reviewed project reports for completion and evaluation in his absence as well as led the efforts of Monitoring and Control division of Project Management Office while I also organized and conducted weekly, monthly project review meetings reporting directly to the Corporate Director. From training individuals on project management skills to resolving issues by coordinating with various departments, leading and creating the reporting standards, meeting teams on project site and giving effective feedback to the teams for improvement became my order of the day. But, most of my work revolved around keeping knowledge database and reports as well as presentation skills and working as an idea board to the Director which was great. In fact in my present occupation as Global Programs Director and President, I am looking after the pages on social media channels for the Institution too and also one of the admins of our Executive Board Group on WhatsApp. Thus, I am always on the digital sphere.

E learning department sounds new but enterprising given the popularity of E courses these days, I believe you might be familiar with the learning environment here with that of your University. 

Are you also using learning management system at your University? 

Coursera recently started Coursera for Campus which you can find here. 

I have seen many Universities integrate with Coursera for Campus.
