Do you think Customer service plays a major role in Business Growth?

Customers are the users of Company's products and they have many preferences and opinions about them. Customers have great expectations from the brands they trust and there feedback goes a long way. Every loyal customer have something to voice and companies don't shy away from working on those values points. They just don't want to disappoint their customers. Customer service is thus important too especially when you have product outlets with you. Do you feel customer service is important for Business growth?

Indeed. Specially if you are offering services. Keep up the quality of services is not that easy. Continuous interaction is also needed for recurring purchases of your product/services.

@vipo28 In order to keep the brand image and reputation high, customer service is one of the potential areas, companies keep a watch on. They are willing to exhibit excellent services and want to keep their regular customers engaged and etched to their product offerings. For which, they offer various exclusive offers and discounts and many other benefits that keeps them valued and special.

But, thinking from the business side of things, it is sometimes difficult to keep up with the demands of customers especially when they see new product launches from other companies, they want the companies they buy from to display better quality and improved version. Thus, Companies cannot afford to offer products that does not meet good quality standards as well as to keep there customers satisfied, they have to keep there think tanks going. I guess, keeping the Company's reputation high is one of the priorities of every thriving Company? What do you think?
